Configuration Studio Overview
Configuration Studio helps you set up documents for your customers (or vendors). In that way it helps you set up those trading partners.
Use Configuration Studio to Create or Modify Document-Configuration Templates
Configuration Studio helps you set up trading partners by giving you a way to finish an essential task at the heart of the onboarding process: setting up the customer’s documents by creating configuration templates. These define how computers can read them. AI does most of the work, but Configuration Studio provides tools for you to refine what the AI has produced. The end result enables computers to read those documents with 100% accuracy.
The Configuration Process
After you have created a trading partner in terms of their organization, which is covered in Setting up Trading Partners, in Configuration Studio, refine configuration templates for your trading partner. The overall process that it offers is relatively simple, but some individual operations can appear complex at first. The four basic steps to the process are:
Documents: Select documents and allow Conexiom’s AI to create the initial configuration profile from those documents.
Configuration: Refine the configuration profile for accuracy.
Business Logic: Add business logic statements and cross references.
Validation: Confirm the configuration profile’s accuracy and completeness.

The Configuration Process
Using Configuration Studio to Create or Modify Document Templates
You can use Configuration Studio to create or modify configuration templates. After uploading the document, do one of the following:
Creating a New Configuration Template
To create a new configuration template, begin by defining each section of your document. See Creating & Modifying Sections in Configuration Studio. From there work at defining fields. See Creating & Modifying Fields in Configuration Studio.
Retrieving and Modifying an Existing Configuration Template
Instead of creating a new layout by going through the whole document-configuration process, you can use Configuration Studio’s Document Layout Service to find existing layouts for documents. See Retrieving a Previously Created Document Template.
