The process for submitting production documents after a trading partner is in production.
Sending your Emails to the Conexiom Portal
After a trading partner is in production, you can now submit live documents to Conexiom by sending your documents via email.
Note: Unlike test documents, you cannot upload production documents.
Key Document Considerations:
- The documents should reflect the same layout and format (i.e. PDF, Excel, Word, or text in the body of the email) as your test documents.
- Do not send an email with multiple customer/vendor documents attached.
To submit all production documents for all your production customers or vendors, follow these steps.
1. Create a new email using the email address in the Portal Email field in the Company page.
Note: To avoid delivery errors, you can copy the address from the portal and save it as a contact in your preferred email system.
2. Attach or forward the email with the documents to the portal email. If you are attaching documents to an email, all documents must be from the same customer or vendor.
Note: Do not submit documents from multiple trading partners in one email. The system will not be able to accurately route the documents to the correct profiles. Use multiple emails.
Leveraging Email Automation Options
We highly recommend automatically forwarding your production documents to ensure continuity. This not only reduces manual errors but also helps you realize the tool's value more quickly by streamlining your workflow. What to Expect After Email Delivery to the Portal
When the document(s) have been sent, you can find them in the Production Documents sub-tab in that trading partner's details page. (For more information, click here).
When the documents arrive, they will be tagged with a status that indicates their current stage in the process. (For more details on what the production document statuses mean, click here).
Troubleshooting Delivery Issues
If you are unable to find your documents in the Production tab of the trading partner, look in the Alerts page to see if the document came in as an alert. For more information click here.
If you are unable to find an alert, use the Emails Received Report to help find the document. For more on how to read and use this report, click here.
