Processing a Document with the Status of "Under Review"

Processing an Under Review document as quickly as possible.

Processing Documents with Status of Under Review

When a document has a status of Under Review, you need to manage it in one of two different ways, each dependent on whether you have the Exception Manager application within your Conexiom configuration.

If You Have Exception Manager

If a production document displays in the status of Under Review and you have Exception Manager, then follow the instructions under Using Exceptions Manager.

Note: If the alert does not display in the Alerts tab or the Alerts page, follow the instructions under "If You Do Not Have Exception Manager," directly below.

If You Do Not Have Exception Manager

If a production document displays in the status of Under Review and you do not have Exception Manager, or if an alert does not display in the Alerts tab or the Alerts page, then it will remain in the exceptions queue for developers.

A document is sent to the exceptions queue when a document is received but the AI detects some unexpected information in the document, such as if the layout has changed slightly. Instead of failing the document immediately, developers are notified and make changes to accept the document, if possible. This alleviates the need for you to enter a change request.

This process can take from a few seconds to about 2-3 hours depending on the developers' availability. If you cannot wait up to three hours for the document to be processed, then find the document's listing and click Do not process. Doing so fails the document, removes it from the exceptions queue, and allows you to manually enter the document's information into your ERP. Since this document will not be reviewed in the exceptions queue automatically by a developer, we recommend reviewing the document and submitting a change request to accept these document variations in future.

    Notifications

If you would like to receive a notification when a document goes into the exceptions queue, you can use the Contact Support link above to submit a request to our Conexiom support team. In the request, indicate how many minutes to wait before each notification is sent after arriving in the exceptions queue.

Note: We recommend a notification to be sent at least one minute after the document goes into the queue.

Stopping Use of the Developers' Exceptions Queue

If you no longer want documents to go to the exceptions queue, you can use the Contact Support link above to submit a request to our Conexiom support team. Note that should you proceed with this option, any documents with exceptions will be Not Processed without advance developer review.  We recommend monitoring for frequency of Not Processed documents and submitting a change request for developer review if frequency rises above your acceptable thresholds.
