Alternative Methods for Submitting Documents

You can submit documents to Conexiom using other methods than email.

The primary method to submit documents to Conexiom is through email. (See Submitting Production Documents and Submitting Test Documents). There are two additional methods of submitting documents to Conexiom.

Note: Be prepared to have sample documents ready to be tested. 

SFTP Pickup

Conexiom can pick up documents from an SFTP site. The site can be your SFTP site or Conexiom can provide a site for your use. Conexiom's pickup service runs approximately every 8-10 minutes. In order to set up this pickup, contact your Conexiom representative and indicate that you would like an SFTP pickup. Provide the following information depending on the provider of the site. Choices follow.

Your SFTP:

  • SFTP Folder Path (URL) for Production documents
  • SFTP Folder Path (URL) for Test documents
  • SFTP Username and Password
    Warning: Only share passwords securely.
  • Provide either the name of the trading partner or a list of trading partners for whom we will be picking up.
    Note: Ensure the Assign Key is set up for each of the trading partners.

You will be provided with the Conexiom IP addresses to whitelist so that we can access your site.

Conexiom SFTP

  • Request an SFTP site provided by Conexiom
  • Provide your IP addresses for Conexiom to whitelist in order for you to access the site
  • Provide either the name of the trading partner or a list of trading partners for whom we will be picking up.
    Note: Ensure the Assign Key is set up in the trading partners

You will be provided with the SFTP folder paths, username, and password for the SFTP site once the setup is complete. The paths will include two folders, one for production documents named “PROD” and one for test documents named “TEST”. Be prepared to test your access to the site.

HTTPS POST (API)

Conexiom can receive document data through our HTTPS POST (API) service. In order to set up this pickup, contact your Conexiom representative indicating that you would like to send files through HTTPS POST (API). Ensure to involve your IT department as they will need to set up the delivery. Include the name of the specific trading partner or a list of trading partners for which you will want to post. We can accept any file formats, from binary files, like PDF or Office documents, to text and structured documents like, JSON or XML. You will receive a technical packet of information with instructions for how to post documents including:

  • A URL for each trading partner
  • Authentication options
  • POST header keyword setup including:
    • Filename or email subject
    • Buyer email address
    • Test document identification
  • Response information
  • Testing and troubleshooting tips
  • Example payloads
